Crysis-Online was officially opened to the public on the 9th of April, 2006. Exactly 99 days after Crysis was officially announced for pc. The site is run by myself and helped out by the moderators of the forum who are considered to be part of the Crysis-Online Team. This site is not the official Crysis website and has no association with Electronic Arts or Crytek.

I originally got the idea to start a Crysis website shortly after I saw the first videos. Just like everyone else, I was amazed and excited over what I saw. I later checked up on what Crysis sites were currently operating. I only found one which wasn't too impressive; I thought I could do better and this site is my response.

My goal is to create and maintain a professional grade Crysis website which it looks like I've achieved as many have mistaken this site as the official Crysis website. I have high quality standards for my work and projects. I started with a clean and easy to use design. I then added the high quality and in depth content which is written entirely by myself from various sources or on some occasions other members of the team.

I was, and I guess I still am a freelance video editor, so this site will be full of high quality videos; some of which have been ehanced to improve image quality and fidelity. I'll try to get a hold of as much HD video as I can. This involves contacting many individuals and websites, but I'm very passionate about what I do and it's important I maintain a consistant level of quality.
