Haha very good Ahrek.
To be honest - I think there are four critcising aspects of Crysis 1.0.
1. Bugs and Hacks - Many experienced single player bugs (although i did not), and MP was a hack disaster.
2. Steep Requirements - Many felt they didnt get the full impact of the game because they barely ran it at visually appeasing settings. They became sour at the game, and this ruined the experience.
3. The final level - The final level, even for me, was a disaster. It was so cliché and just did not work with the game. Also, many feel that Crytek were not going to piss it all up by adding mutants or aliens... and yet they did despite what they originally said. I also think that even tho the spaceship was good - the inclusion of fightable aliens ruined the experience at the final level. The aliens worked at first - but they were not a credible threat and were not great to fight, the large alien you could not destroy and had to run from - this kinda worked, but it still did not feel threatening, and the final level was just.. so scripted I felt like they may aswell have shot the rocket launcher for me.
4. Not meeting promises - most people say the game did not look visually as good as it did in alpha and beta shots. Unfortunately, these people need to open their eyes - cus it looks a lot better and warhead is clearly pushing this further. Despite that, there are some points that clearly were not included - the dynamic altering your gun to be "anything" gameplay - clearly not included, and not to begin a list but the vehicles dynamic damage - was clearly not included. infact driving into a wall was all that your vehicle required to be destroyed - thats just pathetic. GTA4 Spits on that gameplay aspect.
Warhead needs to get rid of those - all of them, and it will mean Crysis 2 will be made
