Description: This release contains a fully flyable Spitfire fighter, a B-25 Mitchell bomber and a 100 km map.
Author: Chris Wright (cwright)
Two demo maps are included. The Island demo includes a small airfield and the aircraft carrier which you can land on. The other map is experimental and uses solid objects for terrain. It is approximately 100 km across. At normal cruising speed the B-25 will take about half an hour to fly across it.

This release is more of a demo or open beta than a final release. There will be a final release later in the year which should have modelling and code improvements/fixes, together with some new features.

Acknowledgments:

This release includes some excellent Spitfire sounds produced by Daniel "Rottenbeard" Fantauzzi. Many thanks to Daniel for a great contribution.

The Spitfire and B-25 are fully flyable, with the following features:

* Flight model calculates aerodynamic forces
* Many features, all implemented with Lua code
* A full set of view modes including cockpit, spot tower and flypast
* Parameters can be adjusted in flight: control sensitivities, turbulence and time of day.
* Weapons that can do a lot of damage: cannon, machine gun, bombs and missiles.
* Flight control by keyboard, mouse or joystick
* Flight situations can be saved and later recalled

New B-25 features:

* Three different textures selected from entity rollup
* Works as normal flyable version or as an AI aircraft that can fly itself, selected from entity rollup
* Player positions selected by key command: cockpit, gun turret, front gunner and bomb aimer.
* Working rotatable gun turret.
* Animated crew hatches, bomb doors and flight yokes.
* Clickable panel controls: light switches and levers for the gear, flaps and bomb bay doors.
* Panel lights for status indication
* Cockpit and taxi lights.

Installation:

1. Go to your Crysis game folder -> Electronic Arts -> Crytek -> Crysis -> Game.
2. Copy the downloaded folders (Levels, Scripts, Libs, Objects, Entites) into the current game folder (Game).
3. Start Sandbox 2 Editor and load Level Island or Fleet.
4. If you want to play the original Levels you have to remove level.editor_xml from the Fleet and Island Level folder and vegetationinstancesarray.editor_data from the Island folder! Furthermore you have to remove the folders: Scripts, Libs, Objects, Entites.

NOTE:If you use modified object files, scripts, textures the cheat protection won't let you play.
