I got this sent to me via email from two seperate friends who have never BSed me stuff before. This is the SHORE MP level customized in the editor with ultra high settings on. I believe! The vid is too good to be fake (With all the matching FPS and what not) I haven't seen this video before in the past, so i don't know how someone would fake it. God it looks amazing (and runs pretty smooth on that guys rig) The physics even are MUCH better and faster. Much better lighting, particles..

That. Is. Godly.
What was his specs? There is no way he was playing that on a single GTX.

That's what I want to know. You'd probably need two computers working simotaniously to produce a quality that high.

I think it is safe to assume somewhere reachable considering the vid was done by a gamer. I would think Quad core and 8800x2. I mean, after the latest patch, i get pretty reasonable FPS (20+) with everything on high (and with extra detail added)

I don't see how dual 8800. When I turn on SLI it actually drops my fps. He must have figured out how to enable it. I think the pics are great! But... is it me or is the lighting on the bushes a little too shinny. I would darken it a little.

I think it is 8800GTX and a dual core. Since the performance differences over very high are not that high. (As I have heard). Also, since SLI doesn't work in the demo (getting rid of the possibility of SLI GTX's), and the fact that the demo is not multicore. So I would say GTX and a nice processor.

Looks like mine to be honest... Looks like someone just made a map with lots of trees to show off the shiny sun rays and stuff. First clue I saw was that the mini map had no terrain on it was just blank

It doesnt look any better, all i think they have done is tweak the HDR levels in that map and made the sun rays much better. all this can be done in the TOD settings in the editor.
unless they tell me HOW to do this and i can see for myself, i dont believe it.

Looks really sweet, how Crysis is supposed to look, but that isnt ULTRA HIGH settings though, as the display info says, Very High 32bit. I'd say exodius is right about the TOD settings though, the vegetation dosen't look anything spectacular over normal Very High vegetation. Its mainly the level design that makes it looks so much more immersive

It seems that the HDR was cranked way, way up as well. I never saw that amount of light in the map editor, even when I did tweak around a little.

This was posted in another thread a couple of days ago. This pic was taken from an incrysis forum member and was made in response to that ridiculous comparison between the original crysis offering and what was in the demo. Obviously, now he's made a video.
He's using an 8800ultra. And NO, this isn't ultra high, its on very high as indicated in the pic.
