EA has released the first long awaited patch for Crysis which brings the game to version 1.1. It fixes a few bugs, makes several tweaks and creates a few updates. Here's the list of changes: Fixes: * Damage dealt to vehicles when shot by LAW has been made consistent * F12 (screenshot) now works in restricted mode as well * When player melees during gun raise animation, their gun will not be in a permanently raised position anymore * Memory leaks and potential crashes Updates: * Improved SLI / Crossfire support and performance * Improved overall rendering performance (DX9 and DX10) * Enabled VSync functionality in D3D10 Tweaks: * Reduced grenade explosion radius in multiplayer * Clamped water tessellation to avoid cheating in MP * Reduced LAW splash damage vs. infantry in PowerStruggle mode * Slowed Rocket projectile speed down in MP slightly You can download it here. Dude i just clicked my Home button to go back to CO, and when i saw this i totally went wacko for a sec... So unexpected! Awesome news, thanks!
A few notes though: Don't give credit to EA for releasing this patch, i'm getting a 'File not found' error when trying to download it from SI and i think this has been out for quite a while now, no?

ive downloaded it and applyed but my gtx is broke so games dont really work  someone plz descibe how much better fps and so on everything is so i can image wat it will be like in a months time when i get my self a new gfx card:'( |

Anybody else having really nasty trouble with the installer? And uhh, what the heck just happened to the forum layout?  Edit: awrgh: "Error 1334. The file 'polish.lng' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file 'PCW_CAB_Family1'." Why did i delete those unecessary language packs? >_< |

ooh 170kb/s.. that better. Man i hope this patch has some major performance fixes! looks like they tried to fix the rocket noob issue tho, thanks god. I hope the MP is now playable. Perhaps crysis shall once again be my favourite game.
