Overview:An

2. Scroll down to the Shadows Section.
3. Change the following line:

Important Notes:-------------------------------------------

You must have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed in order to run this program!
-When you're installing it might seem as if the installer isn't responding, just let it be, the installation may take up to 10 minutes to complete!
-If you are a windows Vista user; you may have to disable UAC before installing the program. Make sure you are using the administrative account, and make sure the files in your Crysis folder are not read-only. To disable UAC: follow these steps. Start->Control Panel-> Type UAC in the search box on the top right corner of the window--CUDAS FAQ--sys_physics_CPUSet this command according to your CPU. This sets the physical index that physics runs on, i.e. what core.
0, is for the first core, keep this at 0 if you have a single core CPU.
Set it to 1 to run physics on the second core of a Dual Core CPU for best performance.
2 and 3 are for the third and fourth cores of Quad core processors, usually 3 works best.e_recursion_occlusion_culling = 1 e_hw_occlussion_culling_objects = 1e_hw_occlusion_culling_water = 1 These three commands no longer work, and need to be deleted from the config file that you decide to use.e_detail_materials_view_dist_xyWe set this to 4096 for much better details on Mountain textures in singleplayer, but this won't work for Multiplayer, since PunkBuster will kick you.
Set it to 2048 to avoid this problem when playing on MP.r_TexAtlasSize = 512Is known to cause a flickering bug on some systems, change it to 1024 to fix.Thanks to Yggdrasillr_motionblurAfter the 1.2 patch, this needs to be set to 5 for motion blur to function and work correctly, if you want Object Blur in DX10. Otherwise, if you just want to enable it, set it to 1 like always.Thanks to Bigbuckr_depthoffieldSet to 1 to enable; set to 2 for a stronger blurring effect on far away terrain.-------------------------------------------

To start off, massive thanks to Cuban and EVERYONE who made this config possible. I have been awaiting it's release since it's original conception, and sheer awesomeness of the results compelled me to sign up on the forum and thank you guys for your effort.
The config is incredible, it makes Crysis seem like a whole new game. Before CCC1.3, I was getting 20-30fps on medium/high settings on my 8800gts 320mb. Now, I get a consistent 40-50 fps with lows at around 30. This has an immense effect on the gameplay experience of Crysis. I am playing through the game again, exploring new ways of playing, and having a blast.
My favorite part of the new look has to be the shadows. Everything is much sharper now and it looks great. Coupled with the new TOD, the new and improved Crysis looks simply sublime.
Congratulations on the release, and all of you have my utmost respect.
Cuban, UltimaRage, Doomlord, Sword, and Arch.. you guys are the masters of Crysis.

Hey guys, I gotta say for the most part this config is kick ass. I went from playing around 25-30fps on 1600*1200 to 30-40fps at 1920*1200. Finally I can play this game at native res. I did tweak it a little though, enabled motion blur and depth of field in the lvl 4.

These guys spent 70 hours on a mod, for free, that works. And with less bugs than the original game. Bravo.

Alright. I tested it out and I can't be any more amazed than this. You guys, have exceeded in the best config ever. You have balanced the performance and the beauty of the game. The game looks life like now with very good fps. The config brings more than performance to the table, it brings the beauty of this game with the new TOD. The installer was amazing. The whole procedure went super smooth and I was playing in no time. Thank you for all of this hard work. It now pays off with this amazing config.
The whole installing process went very smoothly for me. I also included a back up. And I waited 5 minutes for the whole process to finish.

I don't really need a config cause i'm one of the few lucky players that can play the classic very high at good frame rate on DX10 but i wanted to see your work and I really like the sharpeness and the colour of your config!

I have to give props on you guys on this, crytek need to hire you guys to tweak their games. This is how it should of been released, not rushed like it was. BIG PROPS to UltimaRage on the TOD settings this game is 10 times more realistic now, really enhances everything have to play through the game again now. THANKS GUYS

Hey guys... I've tested a few levels. Contact is absolutely amazing. Reckoning takes a bit of a hit for FPS in certain areas, by the way. But, it also is amazing. This config really makes everything look vibrant, dark is darker. Bright colors are brighter. And so on.
I can really tell the difference now when I look at the mountains, and see the high details on them. The Sun also is very well-tweaked. Contact really shines when the Sun comes up for the first time. No pun intended. I give this a 10/10!

Excellent CFG..
Really improved my FPS, most noticeable in MP (since I don't play SP much anymore

)..
When I played MP I thought it was like 30+ FPS.. It's like 20 to 25, but VERY smooth. Also the freezes (not MOAR related
) in Prototype Facility don't last more than 0.75 seconds. I also don't get these freezes in the War Factory anymore, the FPS just drops a little for less than a second..Again, really, really excellent CFG. This is the first custom CFG I've used, and the performance increase is quite significant..
I use the level 1 config in MP, adding colorgrading and some changes to LOD settings to match the level 5 one..
