Dune: A Total Conversion Mod [UPDATE!]

With the release of the SDK, serious work can finally begin on this total-conversion mod--my brainchild and pet for quite some time.
The story will follow the first two books of Frank Herbert's epic sci-fi saga, starting on the home planet of Paul Atreides and following him on Arrakis (Dune) as he evolves into Maud'Dib. The game will take the form of an action-RPG.
Features (speculative)
Massive, open desert populated with sand worms and complete with drum sands and sand seas with their own tides.
An intuitive, customizable player interface that allows for limited RPG-style character development.
A complex combat system where players must make use of allied forces, knives, swords, body-shields, and las guns.
An open ended story with several endings decided by the actions and decisions of the player.
A life system when in the desert based on the condition of the player's still-suit, their fatigue, hunger, thirst, and stamina.
Big worms. That you can ride
Naturally, when undertaking such a massive project, I will need help.
Positions available:
Concept Artist
(x2): I am currently looking for two concept artists with experience drawing for sci-fi and fantasy and who can work well with others.
Programmer
(x3): I am in need of three programmers with advanced knowledge of C++.
Modeler
(x3): I am currently looking for three modelers with experience using 3Ds Max and Maya and who feel that they can work well off of concept art.
(One position has now been filled by Richard_[UK]! Congrats, Richard.)
Sound Editor/Mixer
(x1): The project will need an experienced sound mixer and editor.
Story Developer
(x1): I'd like to have one sociable, creative people to help me develop the story from the notes and books of Frank Herbert.
(One position has now been filled by Dimebag_CFH! Congrats, Dime.)
Please note that a knowledge of the Dune universe is preferred for all positions. However, all applications will be considered.

Never read any of the books, but this sounds great!
I can't help you in anything tho, I suck with the everything that has something to do with developing a game. I can only play it and take nice screenshots

OMG OMG OMG! Great news! I loved Dune, Dune 2, Dune 2000, Emporer Battle for Dune games, Plus all the movies, Including the old ones and the remakes.
Unfortunately I have never read the books, I've never been a "Book" kind of person, but alas I do have knowledge in the universe.
And I doubt any of my other skills are all that useful, The only Programming languages that I am good with is, HTML, Java, and Byond DM language.
Still, I'm going to be keeping a rather good eye on this on!

I'll be a modeler for you never used Maya or 3D Max but good with Blender 3D. I enjoy working off concept art too!
