The Creation: Update #2!

Hello all, this is the 2nd update for the Crysis Total Conversion, "The Creation." We have been busy with the "finals" that have been disrupting other mod teams, but we have still gotten quite a bit done, with a whole lot more to come.

Story
We have added a significant amount to the story (which we unfortunately cannot show you), and we now have one story background, one main story, 4 stories encompassed within the main story (with 2 more possibly on the way), and one story future.
Our story has been going through some significant polishing and defining, and we believe you will love it.

The Alien Nanosuit
In order to properly control the humans, the aliens decided to take the form of their slaves. Aliens posted on earth were given surgery and placed inside a nanosuit that replicates the alien environment; cold, harsh, and unforgiving.
Some say it was because their efforts to terraform the planet failed, others said they couldn't terraform the planet because humans couldn't live in their conditions, and a remaining few say it is to give a human form to their torturers, in order to cause more mental distress.

Created by our concept artist, Nostradamus.
This is still WIP.

SMG
The "pocket" SMG is a military favorite. It assumes the harmless form of a rectangular box, but once activated, unfolds into an SMG through way of the pressurized air system. Because of this, its nickname became "Pandora's Box",

A Graphical Update
Our great mapper Mecius has created a nice little flowgraph for us that makes the colors of the mod much more vibrant. Here is a comparison pic:

Ok, my criticism:

- The upper body and head of the alien nanosuit look totally awesome, but the legs look a bit strange.
- I don't like the saturation in the first picture, it looks like Medium settings and worse.

Other than that: Awesome stuff!

that video looks cool.
but cant u die or something, coz the health reaches 0!

now this might be a bit picky, but as far as level design goes its all very nice having impressive looking hills and a nice TOD but the gameplay looked a little plain, just fighting guys in an open field.  Im guessing theres much more to the level than just that but it was just something i noticed that could get a bit repetative if you have lots of it.

anyway its still looking ace, cant wait to play it.

sorry it was just an observation, thats all.
i havnt played the map, and im probably wrong.  But all the pictures and the video just tend to be of open enviroments that all look pretty similar, and this mod update seems to focus alot on the look of the map and the only real unique gameplay we've seen so far is this video.

btw if u did that whole suit thing in the flowgraph its very impressive.

The open areas are just to show proofs of concept. When you actually play the map, it is a hell of a lot of fun.
And we have only just started revamping the gameplay. A whole lot of things will be changed for the better.
