CoastMP BETA RELEASED

After careful consideration i have decided to scrap the closed beta and just make it open for anyone who wishes to participate. IF you wish to participate in testing my map, please add me on xfire so that i can contact you more easily and also i will let you know if i have a server up and running.

I will be hosting my map on a dedicated server for a couple of hours tonight! ( July 10th ) from about 4pm - 8pm GMT+ 8 that's western australian time.

Details

- PowerStruggle Map.
- Coastal / Jungle Setting.
- incredibly detailed.
- default ToD settings so far, will make my own eventually.

Im about 1/4 complete so far i've put about 12 hours of work into it.

I've completed the town, so now I'm about 3/4 of the way to completing this map. I will upload screenshots tommorow, because right now i am dead tired... i've been mapping all day.

Thanks for the comments, i'm just finishing off the NK jungle now and trying to figure out how to get a damn custom buy zone to work for the NK temp camp. Then i will start testing the map and work out what needs to be changed. and within the next couple of days i should be releasing the completed version.

Create a Shape, link the SpawnGroup to it and you've got a buyzone.

You have to either hold Space and click the little square under the SpawnGroup, or press CTRL+T and double-click your spawngroup there.

my video compressor absoloutely sucked. then youtube compressed it even more also added video to original post.

w00t big map .. How did you make that video ? flying through the air and such ?

I used the tool "TrackView" to make a cinematic that flies through the map.

glad you liked it, i am thinking of uploading a higher quality video somewhere. i will have a look at www.veoh.com and probably end up uploading it there.
