Those who attended the Summit in Germany are now able to share their multiplayer experiences with the rest of the world. Only two sites have published their impressions so far. The first is incrysis. There write up includes details on the deathmatch multiplayer mode and power struggle. According to them, the deathmatch mode is surprisingly good with the majority of it being extremely well balanced. It's all round positives for the Power Struggle too.
Go to InCrysis Multiplayer Impressions >>
German fansite, CrysisNews.de have also posted there impressions of both the multiplayer and the singleplayer. Google's translation tool tries it's best but doesn't quite deliver. If anyone can translate this article for us, then please do.

***UPDATE***
Crysis-France have now posted their own impressions of their Crysis multiplayer experience while in Germany. The system specs of the machine(s) they played on are as follows...
•
CPU:
Core 2 Duo E6700
•
RAM:
2 GB (this is the minimum)
•
GFX:
NVIDIA 7800 GTX 256 MB
•
Mobo:
Asus P5W DH Deluxe
•
LCD:
Samsung Syncmaster 930BF
•
OS:
Windows XP pro
So the rigs they're using in their offices aren't all next-gen DX10 systems, most of them are last-gen medium to high-end systems. The article has been translated with babelfish as I find it translates french to english better than google.

Your google translation link may be broken. There the same.
Heres what google translation says.
New Summit information to power the Struggle
Apart from alluding the multi and Singleplayers we had also a most informative demonstration to the new Gamemode power Struggle. Even if we could not test it yet, then us nevertheless many new Deatils were betrayed in addition which we would naturally also not like to withhold from you. We hope much that soon for this the presentation video shown is published. Up to then we summarized everything for you from it. New information to power the Struggle To the Top Mehrspielermodus there was an impressive Tutorial video, which clarified the procedure in the match picture-enormously at the beginning. Since we were allowed unfortunately to make no pictures or films, we must hope for further still coming publications. Unfortunately we could not allude the mode also - when reconciliation gave it however an extensive overview of map and play behavior, from which we summarize the substantial features briefly here. The route by the power Struggle mode began with a Fly Through over the long-range map. To kind of playing gives it for each party a main basis. The north Koreans receive a land basis, US troops start only little more restrained on a fully accessible submarine, which appeared enormous regarding its interior life to us all. Since the map contains some at distance, jeeps or boats are to be always found in the proximity of the Basen, which make a fast advance possible. Against to early cousin camping helps an effective defense: Each basis is provided with automatic turrets, which take the opponents goal-exactly on the grain. These can be destroyed however with entprechender striking power. Naturally they can be repaired also at any time. Here there was a first reference:
The nano Suit permits it to you to use the camouflage yet the towers will seek out you, if you do not use a Upgrade for this ability.
This Upgrades becomes in one of the buildings which can be taken - which research lab - develops. Further factories are available for weapon and vehicle production. On some maps naturally also for fliers and all aircraft. On the map shown there was armament makers and a research lab, which one could conquer. For this one had to go in the inside and hold for one so seen as “control room” functioning, central point so long, until he and thus the building into the possession of the team had changed over. If this had successfully succeeded for example with armament makers, one could open a building menu, in which - depending upon own account balance - vehicles from the light jeep to the heavy tank orders left themselves. Briefly after their virtual expense account for of you around the amount of purchase facilitated, you the vehicle in one of the “factory garages” is made available. You need to only enter and drive off then. Your virtual money are the prestige POINTs, which you receive for your Kills credited The second building was as research lab in many things a very important goal: Only there one - among other things with the help of the Alien artifacts - can manufacture powerful Upgrades to weapons and above all vehicles. To the camouflage Upgrade specified above or also the powerful and Nuke tank which can be used proverbially you come only, if it this building in your possession have - which will not be all the same naturally also to your opponent. If a Upgrade want to produce it, can do it this among other things, if you distributed on the map, blue shining Alien artifacts “diminishes”. There this “science resources” bring it then to a certain area within the laboratory, give your bundle to the device - and receive a surely very useful Upgrade as “outputs”. This aspect is to be enjoyed in the described execution however still with something caution. Because as mentioned in the Singleplayerbericht, also our demonstration version was at the time of the presentation also still alpha. Whether this “research” will take place accurately in such a way in the full version, is thus not yet safe of 100%. Thus also the question, whether there are certain classes also firmly assigned equipment, explains itself yet not locking. On the basis of the demonstration it will give different Pre sets, which in each case offer a composition at weapons for a certain combat emphasis - if the player would like to use these Pre sets. A class system like it Battlefield leads, is not not planned. This provides naturally comprehensive liberties for the player, as he wants to equip and use its combat role. The play mode power Struggle belongs certainly to the “Large Scale Combat scenario”. The upper limit is up-to-date with 16vs16 players. This may sound itself by the information enormous map little, but still another further, important element comes here into the play.
The Tech buildings are not only einnehmbar, it also Spawn so mentioned shelters will give, which are distributed over the map in the proximity of the important combat places. These shelters can be taken and be used thus as Spawnpoint for the own troops. At the same time that gives accordingly also protection for the advancing team comrades to special building its name. By these mechanisms the way to the scene of the fight is to be never far and not arise lengthy opponent searches even.
A ticket system like one it from Battlefield knows, gives it up-to-date not. Each player collects nevertheless points, which are listed in a end Ranking. Locking, interesting question is naturally also, when the play is won, and/or when it ends and which the victory conditions are. In the case us levels shown had one a building specified in the Intro to destroy. Naturally impressively best with the Nuke tank. Altogether the mode makes already for very round general impression.
The Multiplayer during the Summits
Of course also the Multiplayer should not come too briefly, also for it had we much time to testing during the Summits. Unfortunately it was not possible that we allude the fire-new power Struggle mode. Instead of its waited an exciting Deathmatch Game for us, which we in detail used to the Batteln, in order to make us familiar with the usual weapon models of [Logo] Crysis. As is the case for the Singleplayer also here the Fun factor did not come too briefly. We allude Deathmatch On the second day [Logo] of the Crysis Community Summits we could test then also a Multiplayerpart: The Deathmatch. One cannot again invent such a simple type of play - however to make substantially more attractive. Over the map many points of entrance were distributed and nearly at everyone were a copy-strong primary weapon in direct proximity. Even if experiencedr players already came with the SOCOM Standardpistole on their Kills, were nevertheless more popular some the weapons than others. Thus the Chaingun often found to use. Among other things there was also a Alienwaffe, which impressed all by its cool blue ice jet. The Rocket Launcher could offer only three shot, offered for it however an unforgettable explosion, which could have kept up easy with each Actionfilm from Hollywood. Its position was then also rather fast well-known, because simply each thereby something had to hunt into air. Beside this standard Deathmatch the nano Suit in many game situations enriched the Gameplay. If one stood for example without ammunition before an opponent with Chaingun or rocket launchers, one had either the speed function to escape over from the ball hail or, if one were close enough, which Strenght function around the opponent with the bare fists auszuknocken. If one had the nano Suit well in the grasp, one was usually even more successful with a combination of both, than the opposite with its movement-slowing down large caliber.
The enemy could increase in response by the Strenght function the accuracy of its actually strongly strewing Chaingun immensely, so that the fists did not fly completely so fast. This weapon with its nine runs and the 200 shot the absolute Favourit straight for the beginners was general.
Beside gatherable weapons and the nano Suit, hid the Enwickler in many places also Upgrades, one to find could over in the connection thereby the own weapon pimpen. So one could use for example the garnet thrower ADD on only if one had erspäht somewhere and had stuck on this. A further possibility was to gather a second SOCOM pistol around then in the Tarantino style with a pistol per hand by the level too schnetzeln. One was not allowed to lose sight of one however: The ammunition. Like that it was not amazing that one could observe quite often fist fights described above, if one had emptied the magazines one on the other.
A little thing clouded the play passport only at the edge: In the DX9 environment nothing was destroyable, although with nice accessories one had not saved also here. Thus there was a Spawnpunkt in a hut, where still another complete Kaffeegeschirr stood on a buffet. If one opened the fire on it, nothing happened. That did however at all no abort to the play feeling, since everything was very out-arranged detail in love also here
. Our round around impression The Deatchmatch mode made much fun for all participants. Straight one by the many different, partly very impressive weapon types was actually very varied and excitingly the Gameplay. Also the possibility the fists of the nano Suits speak to let, was durchdacht probably and lent to the well-known play variant a fresh, individual note. With the speed-rich Multiplayerversion noticed one however that the development did not prosper here yet so far, as with the Singleplayer. Like that the Spawns was partly somewhat unfortunate, because at the different points, where one was thrown in the play usually already an opponent stood, who hesitated not for a long time and fired loosely lively drauf, so that one did not have enough time at all, itself at all umzuschauen to procure itself let alone somewhere its weapon. With Campen that did not have to do anything, but was rather the coincidence, because straight someone had already come at this Spawnpunkt into the play. Also were to be found partly still nose, which made sometimes or did not permit a waiving of the weapon difficult. These small blemishes are to be however still fixed. We look forward already to the final versions of the Multiplayers.
The Singleplayer during the Summits
Today us imposed embargo falls under the table and we can you finally large information to [Logo] Crysis and the Multiplayer give, which we collected during the Summits.
As already in our Coverage suggested, we could allude both the Singleplayer and the Multiplayer in detail.
First to the single player version, which we could test on a so far unknown map on heart and kidneys.
We had fortunately the direct comparison between the different diagram interfaces Direct X9 and/or Direct X10, on which [Logo] Crysis runs. We allude the Singleplayer In the area a DX10 computer, the remainder was located ran on DX9. To the diagram it is to be said that it looked breath-robbing in both versions more than. Altogether the DX9 variant worked more color-gladly, whereas with DX10 the colors of the jungle, the island and the sea more naturally and more gediegener worked.
One could recognize even rope on the sheets here. Both diagram interfaces were not however in conditions, us into an induced to shift alive nature the requirement fulfilled to be absolutely photo realistic from it are however no longer very far distant. The environment was much detail-falls in love. Sumptuous green, tropical plants and each quantity of Eye Candy in the form of flowering vegetation as well as all kinds of graphic Raffinessen inspired all participants of the Summits. The beautiful sea is here emphasized completely particularly, which with its surf, which gloss and the perfect 3D-Animation let holiday mood correctly arise. We started directly in the nano- Suit with two comrades into our mission. On Aliens we are not pushed, which might have disturbed however none due to the various impressions. All proceeded first very slowly, because everyone wanted to make a walk by this fantastic environment. There was simply much too much to discover. On the sea an enormous cruiser floated. Everyone wanted to naturally try out whether one can there. Thus off in the water and swim. It lasted not for a long time, there noticed we that also dipping is possible. That looked straight absolutely cool with the nano- Suit. Only occasionally one had to emerge, in order to get air. Whereupon the Health announcement made always in time attentive for us. Which less cool was, the rather bad shark was, with muzzle on us, broken far, too swam, and all the same how often we tried at cruiser to arrive, always enormous hunger had. According to Bernd Diemer it is to be able to be prevented with punches from killing, however no participant of the Summits was already so experienced with the abilities of the nano- Suits that he could have settled the fish. The cruiser actually stands to the Zierde there. It is accessible, cannot be steered however not actively. The developers look forward already to the first modification, which brings it to swimming. A completely new play feeling mediated the nano- Suit. Everyone had really understood completely fast, how it functions. Through pressed the SHIFT key held we could tear unbelievably fast. This feature is very meaningful, since it increases the mobility of the player apart from much fun also additionally. We could not discover dead points on the map. It very extensively and over times evenly by the jungle down to the sea, he was to be run valuable services carried out. Very beautifully is also its changing Design at the arms. You on the basis the different colors will always see, with which feature of the suit you play straight. Also the weapons made a very good impression. Particularly well the SCAR pleased us, which lay optimally in the hand. We could modify it always fast and go thus on the hunt to opponents and trees. Very positively it noticed to us that aiming accuracy could convince Battlefield players already eingefleischte.
Naturally we tried out also, to what extent one has the fully destroyable environment with DX9, with which in the apron were so offensively recruited. Were also here we fill contently. The palms fell down, the building disintegrated into its components, and also throwing with objects functioned smoothly. And the vehicles? Of course the different land vehicles were also not safe before us.
All worked very authentically. The interior was equipped with mobile announcements for the speed of etc. Our round around impression All in all it made madly for fun. Crytek promised not too much, if of a Shooter of the next generation one spoke. We played an alpha version (feature completed), and only in very few places found we smaller of nose, which referred to it. Where one could recognize occasionally the fact that we do not have yet the final play before us was with the AI. The enemies were to that extent intelligent that they could find us on their part, only if it concerned to us to kill were it sometimes some more slowly. The chances stand however very well that this small deficiency is to be gotten still up to release into the grasp. We (Hummel and Höhlchen) could allude [Logo] Crysis already once on the airplanes Lan September last in Zurich, which an experience was at that time already. One can certify calm conscience that since then it did still very much and one had now the feeling to have a round play before itself. We are very strained, which will still do up to release. We found particularly beautiful apart from the picture splendour above all that maan also in DX9 a destroyable environment in the Singleplayer will have, which does not leave desires open.
Directly the X9 version ran usually liquid on Intel a core duo 6400, a Geforce 7950 GTX and 2GB RAM as well as Windows XP.

Nice articles, gave me loads of new information. I am quite dissapointed about this:
Quote
The environment destructiblity was completely disabled for some reason. We were told there would be limited destructibility in the retail game - stuff that doesn't really affect the gameplay much, but makes for nice eye candy. Also, the environment will stay destroyed and not "respawn" after a set time.
Hope that they will change their minds and enable fully destructible environments in MP too
I think that I did found a typo though:

Hmmm I never heard about a 7950GTX, guess they meant the 7950GX2

Well most of Far Cry's physics was disabled in multiplayer as was doors and elevators so it was predictable.

Ya with dx10 and more objects on screen you can see why you need the extra space to store them! And with destructible environments will increase your ram usage allot more

ther is no skill in doing that, the skill is to get as mutch power as u can from a low end system, so now can some one tell me, will 2gb be the minimu on the box. I hope not.
and the stuff is usles to know if you dont know the setting they were using, this line "Directly the X9 version ran usually liquid on Intel a core duo 6400, a Geforce 7950 GTX and 2GB RAM as well as Windows XP" still dosent help since we dont know the settings.

Limited destructibility in multiplayer sounds disappointing. I thought that was gonna be the thing that really set Crysis apart. I wanna drive through a hut in a tank, crushing anyone inside. Ah well, only in singleplayer it seems.
On second thoughts, it could still include huts and trees. Maybe by limited they meant you can't destroy big concrete and steel buildings, which is obvious.
