Today we would like to show you a very cool thing that can be done with two simple lines of code. Forum member MyOpinion has posted a little but fun modification that puts everything in the game (effects, animations and bullets) into a slowmotion mode. Simply by the press of one button.

Demonstration Video
As screenshots cannot show the slowmotion, MyOpinion has created a video to show off that nifty effect.

How to install/use

  • Once downloaded, unzip the archive and you will find a file called autoexec.cfg.
  • Copy this file to your Crysis root folder, i.e. C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\
  • If there already is an autoexec.cfg, open both files and copy the lines of code to your existing autoexec.cfg.
  • Now start up the game. To activate the Slowmotion, press Q. E to deactivate.

You may want to change the keys that enable/disable it. To do so, open the autoexec.cfg and change the key bindings.

NOTE: If you use modified object files, scripts or textures, the cheatprotection wont't let you play online.

This looks like a nice little mod. Turning on and off slow-mo on command is exactly was I've been looking for. Enjoy! Smiley

I mean, how smooth does it stay during those explosions? I'm defiantly going to try this one out.

There is your answer, change your buttons at will. But no offense, the leaning feature is useless. I don't even use it, doesn't help one bit.

Your second question is better to ask over at Crymod, in the guys original thread for it. I can not answer that.

Look at the last three digits when comparing nVidia GPUs that have numbers 600 or lower! So a 7600 is better than a 8500! ______________________ If you have a question about the forums (eg. signature, avatar) please PM me so I can help you! ______________
