As a world premiere at this year’s Games Convention in Leipzig, the public will be able to get a first, hands-on experience of Crytek’s recently announced “Crysis Warhead” which is the new installment of its multiple award winning blockbuster Crysis, at the EA Booth (Hall 3, B02). Players will also be able to test Crysis Wars which is included in the Warhead box, at the Intel/ESL Booth (Hall 3, B30/1 - /6).

Play It.
The GC is Europe ’s largest games convention. Spread over four halls, the industry shows the public the games and products it now offers or is planning to bring onto the market soon after, and usually does so with enormous presentational effort, big shows, loads of celebrities and all sorts of gimmicks to entertain its visitors.

Booth Information
This year Crytek has a big presence at GC. Our staff will be available to you across 3 booths where you will be able to play through the demo level of Warhead and also get some game time on our new Multiplayer package, Crysis Wars, which is included in the Warhead box.

1. Crytek Booth
For the first time, Crytek will have its own booth which will be located in the developers Village area of the Business Centre in Hall 2, E31. This is where we will be demonstrating the latest version of our middleware solution, the CryENGINE2 to all trade visitors.

2. EA Booth

It’s here at the EA booth (located in Hall 3, B02) that players will be able to get to grips with Crysis Warhead, the new installment of the Crysis Franchise on any of the machines provided. There will be staff on hand to answer questions and show you the ropes.

3. Intel/ESL Area
At the Intel/ESL are you’ll be able to join our staff in playing some of our brand new TeamInstantAction game mode available in Crysis Wars. Try out the game on any of the available machines and take on some of Crytek’s staff!

Live Presentations!
With our massive presence at GC we couldn’t go there without giving a big presentation all about our Warhead package. They will happen each and every day of GC and will be hosted by Sebastian Spatzek , Game Designer at Crytek Budapest! You’ll find it going on in the Intel/ESL Area on the ESL TV stage. Be sure not to miss it!

Crysis in Concert
For the first time in its history, on August 20th 2008, the Games Convention in Leipzig will host the VGL, an immersive concert event featuring music from the most popular video games of all time. Top orchestras & choirs perform along with exclusive video footage and musical arrangements, synchronized lighting, solo performers, electronic percussionists, live action and unique interactive segments to create an explosive entertainment experience!
As part of their show in Leipzig they will be playing some of the most powerful tracks from the Crysis OST. If you are attending be sure to book your seat now as it is bound to be a sell out show.
