[Update] - GL-06 Grenade Launcher

Welcome to today's news update regarding the work in progress GL-06 Grenade Launcher. Currently under development by talented modeller and forum member MisterMoo, the forum thread was recently updated with some new screenshots detailing the progress made on the model, and the start of the texture that will be placed on the model.

Below is some information about the Brügger-Thomet GL-06 Grenade Launcher, followed by the aforementioned screenshots. The first picture shows an overview of the model, the second shows the model from a first person perspective. The third and final screenshot shows the same first person perspective, but with the started texture applied to the model.

The GL-06 grenade launcher is intended to serve as a supplemental or squad weapon in various tactical scenarios: When used with less lethal munitions it is an effective and versatile tool for all types of crowd management and law enforcement tasks, with high explosive grenades it is a compact and lightweight support weapon in any land warfare theater.
The GL-06 is designed as a single shot break down weapon. Due to its design and strength of materials, the launcher works with all kind of 40mm x 46 ammunitions. The trigger is of double-action-only style with non-exposed hammer for safe and simple operation.
There are different stock configurations, two integrated Picatinny rails and the possibility to install more rails and accessories to optimize the launcher specifically to each mission.
The ergonomics are state of the art: ghost ring sight for fast and accurate target acquisition, left and right side sling attachment points, large ambidextrous operating elements and a wide trigger guard for easy operation even with heavy protective gloves.
