MyCrysis: It's with great pleasure that i get to announce that Crytek has just won 4 awards at the German Developer Awards in Essen. Plenty of Crytekkers were on hand to receive the awards, including Avni Yerli. Everyone returned to the office in great spirits, had fun and was very pleased to have received such great recognition from the industry and it's fans.

Frankfurt / Essen Dec. 3rd, 2008 – Nominated seven times in five categories Crytek won four awards at the “Deutscher Entwicklerpreis 2008” awards show in Essen, Germany . Crysis has been awarded as “Best German PC Game” and “Best Game Design”. Crysis and Crysis Warhead won “Best In-Game Graphics”. Crytek has been awarded with “Studio of the Year”.

At the “German Developer Awards“ German developers of PC and console games are awarded for outstanding games released in the last twelve month.
